In 2018 Anya and her friend and peer Rebecca Maslin, were offered an opportunity to set up and run a fitness retreat at the beautiful Finca Avedin in Andalusia in Spain. After a lot of research, they discovered that there was a real gap in the market for a fitness retreat that involved tough workouts and glorious hikes in nature but also relaxing and unwinding with delicious food and a glass of wine in a stunning setting. So together they created Workout & Wine Down Retreats.
After a hugely successful retreats in 2018 and 2019, they are returning to Spain in September 2020 to run another sold out retreat. They are also in the process of organising a Workout & Wine Down Retreat in the UK.
Here is an example of what a day on one of our retreats entails:-

7.30am - Fruit, teas and coffees
8.15am - Morning Workout
9.30am - Breakfast
11am - 2 hour hike in the hills
1.30pm - Lunch
Afternoon -Personal Time
5.30pm - Evening Workout (Followed by Rooftop meditation)
7.30pm - Pre-Dinner Cava Drinks Reception
8pm - 3 course sit down dinner with wine
3 nights accommodation at the tranquil Finca Avedin
Transfer to and from Malaga airport to the villa (If travelling on the recommended flights)**
6 workouts during your stay
2 hikes in the Andalusian mountains (with 2 options available to cater to all abilities)
Personal and relaxation time
A chance to relax and unwind by the pool each afternoon
All your food and drinks for the weekend cooked by our talented house keeper for breakfast and lunch
A cava drinks reception each evening followed by a 3 course evening meal cooked by a private chef served with wine.
All rooms have their own en-suite

This is not a weight loss weekend. This is a wellness weekend. It incorporates lots of movement, R&R time, delicious, nutritious food and of course, a little vino.
