I’m Anya Russell, Founder and CEO of MenoLift. My journey into fitness began long before MenoLift existed - I first discovered my love for sport and movement while studying at the University of Bath, a place known for its excellence in elite sport. After graduating, I spent ten years working in television, but deep down I knew my true passion was elsewhere. Retraining as a fitness professional was a leap of faith - and proof that it’s never too late to make a big life change.

My Qualifications

Since qualifying as a personal trainer, I’ve continued to deepen my expertise with specialist certifications including:

​

  • Menopause Movement Coach Certification

  • Girls Gone Strong Pre & Postnatal Coaching

  • Certified Postnatal Fitness Specialist - JMG Fitness Consulting Inc.

  • Advanced Nutrition for Weight Management Course

​

These qualifications shaped the way I coach women across different life stages - from early motherhood through to perimenopause and beyond.

 

My Approach

​

Although I began as a personal trainer, my work now centres on online fitness and wellness coaching. This isn’t about logging on for a one-hour Zoom workout and then being left to figure out the rest alone. Instead, it’s a personalised, results-driven system that gives women everything they need to succeed long term, including:

Tailored training plans (home or gym)

  • Nutrition guidance and strategies

  • Habit coaching and lifestyle support

  • Ongoing accountability through daily and weekly check-ins

    Every programme is unique, because every woman’s goals, challenges, and circumstances are different.

My Mission

 

Through MenoLift, my mission is simple: to help women - especially those navigating perimenopause and menopause - reclaim their strength, energy, and confidence through an approach that feels supportive, sustainable, and empowering.

Beyond The Screen

​

While most of my work now happens online, I also offer a limited number of in-person sessions. These sessions are ideal for women who prefer face-to-face coaching or want a hybrid approach to ease into online coaching.
